About

‘About this blog:

My wife would say that I am “homeless”, but I would prefer that she say I live in unconventional housing (ie, a tent).  This is my documentation of the advantages, disadvantages, adventures and setbacks of living in the woods at night while trying to make good impressions at a new job in the day.

About myself:

I am not a mountain man.  I am not necessarily good with directions, experienced in survivor skills, or especially athletic.  But I do love the idea of being self-sufficient.  I want to own chickens, land, maybe a goat or two, and a large garden.  I brew my own beer, make cheese, and try to cook everything.  I graduated from a small university in New York with a degree in political science.  I then spent some time working in ad sales on the West coast, before continuing my education in law school in the South.  I recently married the love of my life in May.  She thinks I’m crazy.
